The purpose of mold remediation is to REMOVE the mold to prevent human exposure and damage to building materials and furnishings. It is necessary to clean up mold contamination, not just to kill the mold. Dead mold is still allergenic, and some dead molds are potentially toxic. If there is mold growth in your home, you must both clean up the mold and FIX the source of the moisture problem. If you clean up the mold but don't fix the source, then most likely, the mold problem will come back.

Our non-invasive process penetrates the porous surface eliminating the entire mold structure, without removing the mold affected building materials (as long as those building materials are still structurally sound and not compromised by the mold or water damage – i.e., crumbling, tearing, etc.). In addition, GOLD STAR treats the structure for airborne particulates (including mold spores) through use of air scrubbers and/or fogging, as needed. When the project is completed, in most instances the porous material will look brand new.
